Everton boss David Moyes wants to remain at the Toffees with Spurs apparently interested in Wigan manager Roberto Martinez and Newcastle boss Alan Pardew
Tottenham manager target David Moyes has insisted that he remains committed to Everton.
The Toffees boss has been in charge at Goodison Park for 10 years now and wants to win trophies on the Merseyside club.
“I’m ambitious and I want to try to win things and ideally I want to do that with Everton,” he told the BBC.
“We brought in two or three players in January and you could see the difference it made to the club, to the players, to myself, so we want to try and do that again.
“I told my chairman four weeks ago (that money was needed to compete) so for me my concentration is on getting Everton ready for the start of the season, and hopefully getting off to a better one than we’ve had in recent years.”
Andre Villas-Boas thinks Tottenham may have succeeded in their final day push for Champions League football had referee Andre Marriner awarded Gareth Bale a penalty - rather than book him for diving.
