Transfer news: Sebastien Bassong has joined Norwich City

Tottenham have confirmed the sale of defender Sebastien Bassong to Norwich City for an undisclosed fee.

The French-born Cameroon international has signed a three-year contract at Carrow Road.

Bassong had been at Spurs since 2009 and spent the second half of last season on loan at Wolves.

He wrote on Twitter: “I’ve been officially transferred to Norwich today. 3 years deal. another chapter in my football life.

“I wish all the best to my old team mate at Spurs. I’ve had great time with them. I hope they’ll success.”

Brick Lane Comedy Festival cancelled after opposition from community groups
