Transfer news: Gonzalo Higuain is confident that Luka Modric will move to Real Madrid
Real Madrid star Gonzalo Higuain believes that Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric will be joining the Spanish giants.
The striker is hoping that the two clubs can agree a deal for the wantaway playmaker, who has also been linked with Manchester United and Chelsea.
“I saw at Modric at Euro 2012 and also at Tottenham,” Higuain said.
“He is a player who loves the club and us. I wish to close the deal as quickly as possible if it is for the good of the team.”
