Everton manager David Moyes has insisted that there has been no contact from Tottenham over the vacant managers post.

The Soct has been in the Toffees role for 10 years and guided the club to a seventh placed finish last season, above fierce rivals Liverpool.

Moyes said: “There has been no contact. If there had been contact, the first person I would have told would be the chairman.”

Former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas and Wigan manager Roberto Martinez are also linked with the role.
