Transfer news: Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham target Fernando Llorente has revealed that he will consider his options in January.
In 237 La Liga games for Athletic Bilbao the striker has scored 82 goals for his side and has been one of the leading lights in the league leading to the Premier League trio being interested in the hitman.
The Spain international is out of contract next summer and the Europa League runners up may look to cash in in January to avoid losing their prized asset for free.
“Now I am only thinking about helping the team and I will try to make things go as well as last year,” he said.
“I’ve been at Athletic for many years and always will be Athletic - although one day I will play for another team.
“It has been a bumpy and hard summer and I’ve had to make tough decisions.
Juventus were reportedly leading the race for the 27-year-old but the striker insists he has not decided his future.
“You never know how things will turn out and I had to go through difficult times,”
“In January I am free to negotiate my future, but I want to be focused to try to help the team.
“But it is not decided that my future is at Juventus.”
Andre Villas-Boas thinks Tottenham may have succeeded in their final day push for Champions League football had referee Andre Marriner awarded Gareth Bale a penalty - rather than book him for diving.
