Transfer news: Fernando Llorente could leave Athletic Bilbao
Tottenham, Chelsea and Arsenal target Fernando Llorente will speak with Athletic Bilbao on Wednesday over his future at the club.
The Spain international has also been linked with Juventus and his agent, Arino Bajo, revealed that a Manchester club, believed to be City after United completed the signing of Robin van Persie, is also interested.
Tottenham are also believed the be the London side closest to making a move for the 27-year-old frontman.
“Tomorrow [Wednesday] Llorente will speak to his destination,” Arino Bajo said, according to the Daily Telegraph.
“It is very, very possible he will decide to go to the Premier League.
“I don’t know the [choice of] club at the moment but there are two [interested] clubs. One is in London, and one is in Manchester.”
Andre Villas-Boas thinks Tottenham may have succeeded in their final day push for Champions League football had referee Andre Marriner awarded Gareth Bale a penalty - rather than book him for diving.
