Brentford manager Uwe Rösler has signed Ryan Fredericks from Tottenham Hotspur on a season long loan.

Fredericks, who can play at right back and on either flank, signed today after the Bees boss revealed at Thursday’s fans’ forum that he would have a new addition in place for the Capital One Cup trip to Walsall.

The defender, who will turn 20 in October, has previous first team experience at White Hart Lane with Europa League appearances in the previous two seasons.

He will travel with the rest of the squad to The Bescot Stadium on Saturday morning and will wear squad number 18 for this season.
