Paris Saint-Germain boss Carlo Ancelotti has remained coy over a possible bid for Tottenham star Luka Modric.

The Croatia international is linked with a move away from White Hart Lane with Chelsea and Manchester United the frontrunners.

“I know that is what matters most now, but I am sorry to disappoint you,” he told AS.

“I cannot speak publicly about the transfer market.

“You have to understand that it would be foolish of me to speak openly about our objectives and movements in relation to quality players.”
