Current and former cricketers have spoken via the social networking site twitter to express their sadness over the death of 23-year-old batsman Tom Maynard.
The former Glamorgan batsman died in an accident in the early hours this morning after being hit by an underground train at Wimbledon Park.
Maynard joined Surrey in 2011 and will be missed by plenty within the game.
"Life can b so cruel! Tom Maynard- a really nice guy who was a pleasure to play with & will b really missed. RIP Tom." -Team-mate Mark Ramprakash.
