Wretch 32 is the latest star to join a campaign to cut teenage deaths on London’s roads.

The Tottenham-born rapper appears in a YouTube video warning fans to stay alert on the road as part of Transport for London’s (TfL) campaign Stop.Think.Live.

It is the 27-year-old’s second video for the campaign in as many years, joining previous Road Safety Ambassadors, including Tinie Tempah, Rizzle Kicks and Tinchy Stryder.

As well as the video shout-outs, the campaign includes posters carrying images to show the consequences of being distracted on the road.

Since the campaign started in 2000 the number of teenagers killed or seriously injured has fallen by almost 62 per cent.

Ben Plowden, director of planning and surface transport at TfL, said: “The new posters address the many distractions teenagers may face while nearby or using the road.

“This is an important part of our ongoing work to save lives. The campaign builds on the success of previous years with the number of casualties falling every year.”
