Young and old joined together last Sunday to transform a Crouch End square into a thriving celebration of dance.
The Big Dance event took over Hornsey Town Hall square, in The Broadway, between 11am and 3pm.
It was part of a nationwide initiative to promote dance and increase physical activity in the lead up to the Olympics and Paralympics this year.
Throughout the day, a range of choreographed dance performances incorporated different styles, while a community dance performance involved local people aged between seven and 60.
Carol Chuck, of Crouch End charity Action4Kids, said: “There were people from all walks of life involved - there was a lovely community feel about it.”
