The Olympic Torch is on the final leg of the second day of its journey around London.
Earlier this afternoon it went to Havering, going to locations including Romford Market Place, and to the Queen’s Theatre in Hornchurch, where renowned concert pianist Lang Lang carried the Flame.
It is now on its way through Bexley, the last of the London boroughs the Torch will visit today.
At around 6pm the Flame is due at Hall Place, where the torchbearer will be Christine Gosden, 38, from Sidcup. She was nominated for her volunteering for Girlguiding UK.
The last torchbearer of the day will be boxer Lennox Lewis, who will light the celebration cauldron on stage at an event in Danson Park.
In her monthly blog, cllr Claire Kober takes a look at the High Road West scheme, which is open to public feedback and could help to regenerate the area around White Hart Lane stadium
