The six students met the rapper/producer at his studio in The Chocolate Factory, Clarendon Road, Wood Green, on Monday.

The meeting was part of the BBC’s School Report project, which gives classrooms around the country the chance to create audio, video and web news reports.

Today, local, regional and national BBC news programmes will feature reports from schools throughout the day.

On Monday, each of the pupils were filmed asking the 22-year-old star questions during a 30-minute interview.

Year 9 pupil Alba told the Journal: “I asked him ‘what was the most outrageous thing you’d ever do?’ He said that he’d like to sing a song through his nose and get a hit record!

“He was really funny and down to earth – he treated us equally.

“There was a girl with us who wanted to be an MC – he told us that we have to work hard for anything.”

As part of today’s BBC broadcasts, the school is also working on a story about International Women’s Day.
