An evening with award-winning author, columnist and critic Caitlin Moran at a Wood Green bookshop sold out in just 90 minutes.
The launch of new book Moranthology at the Big Green Bookshop, Brampton Park Road, is a rare opportunity to meet Crouch Ender Caitlin, who will be signing books and discussing her last best-seller, How To Be A Woman.
But if you missed out on one of the highly sought-after tickets first time round, don’t despair. More tickets - which cost £20 with a copy of Moranthology, or £10 without - may become available for the October 4 event closer to the time.
Signed copies of her book are also available to pre-order from the store.
Big Green Book’s Simon Key promised: “She will sit at home for a day to sign and dedicate any copies which are sold for people who do not get here.”
Three weeks earlier, best-selling author Scarlett Thomas will also launch her new book, Monkeys With Typewriters – How To Write (And Read) Better.
She will discuss her new guide to writing fiction and read from her 2006 novel The End of Y.
The event takes place on September 20 and tickets are £5, redeemable against any of Scarlett’s books on the night.
For more information and tickets for both events, visit www.biggreenbookshop.com or call 020 8881 6767.
