A 21-year-old man is in a critical condition in hospital following a stabbing in Harringay in the early hours of this morning.

Police and paramedics were called to Wightman Road just after 3am where they found the man suffering from multiple stab wounds.

He was rushed to hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

Detectives from Haringey Police are investigating and have arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of GBH.

Road closures are in place on Wightman Road between the junction with Burgoyne Road and the junction with Endymion Road.
