Man charged with Lukey Maxwell murder
Today police have charged a 36-year-old man with the murder of Lukey Maxwell, 22, in Tottenham on Friday June 5.
Arthur Gorol, 36, of Tregelles Road, Hoddeson has been remanded in custody and will appear before Hendon Magistrates Court today.
Police were called just after midnight Friday to Northumberland Park, Tottenham where they discovered Lukey Maxwell suffering from knife wounds.
Despite efforts by officers, London Ambulance and London Air Ambulance, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
A post-mortem examination gave the cause of death as a single stab wound to the back.
Four men and two women who were also arrested on Friday June 5 on suspicion of murder have been released with no further action.
