A third of students studying A-level Turkish at the College of Haringey, Enfield and North East London (CONEL) achieved A grades, the college announced.
Every student taking Turkish A-level passed the exam this year,
Delighted student Yagmur Yapici, 18, who wants to become a psychiatrist, now has enough points to enrol on the psychology and criminology course at Brunel University in September.
Jane O’Neill, vice principal for curriculum and learner experience at CONEL, said: “Year on year we see learners perform well in Turkish A-levels. The AS and A2 levels give our students additional UCAS points which means they have more options for university and for employment.”
